just one example of acoustic guitar and synths together.

modern bands like tuung may give you a more overall acoustic/electronic vibe. .

or the beta band are pretty cool too.

and many, many more...

I'm on occasion benevolent to the world of beeping and bleeping 808 kick and 303 stylee sinth, along with bass VI, acoustic and electric guitar, strings, and the crooning;

https://donkeyt.bandcamp.com/track/the- ... to-the-sea

Strummed acoustic (especially 12 string as here) is always a favourite as it can occupy both a percussive and melodic role at the same time.

Perverted? Moi? :hihi:

Just the stuff detailed, plus Addictive Drums and my shoddy tambourine playing. The guitars are recorded twice and panned out to give a bit of room for the other stuff. Bass VI has quite a wet stereo reverb on it, and I miked it the strings unplugged on it too for a bit of lofi 'ambience' .

Anything, except maybe cannons; it's all a matter of making it work: same as with anything else. Listen to anything made between 1960 and whenever those five Scandinavians started writing every song a while ago, and you'll hear a bazillion examples. Unless, of course, you're talking about modern styles or trying to come up with something formulaic and soulless (but I repeat myself). But hey, somebody has to write the soundtrack for the pill-popping maniacs who just want sonic wallpaper.
Wait... loot _then_ burn? D'oh!

These are probably EP's but they could easily be done with FM, plus the swells and vibes parts might even sound better if they were synths:

such a balancing act though isn’t it what is considered soulless ?
each person is different

the beck song above is nice and very well done
but id listen stuff like that if i wanna sleep or relax on a sunday
a good pop or synthwave song will get me running harder in the gym

a anthem
rock song will get me up chanting with a. group of buds

a hip hop or metal song would get me turning the music off 😂
all jokes aside modern music sounds good to me

and older stuff sounds outdated
but i like both
i think when i pick up and acoustic i feel like i’m in danger of sounding like embrace the verve or noel gallagher all people i like
but then i also like electronic music like pop and synthwave ( not edm beats too hard for me )

it all can have feeling or soul and it doesn’t always come
from the vocals

i feel like im never going to decide between

acoustic ( piano or guitar ) or synth based music

if im honest synths and pianos just sound better to me

but guitar music is singalong and every one likes a singalong

i don’t think synths merge good with acoustic guitar for the most part

acoustic guitar is its own thing
bit of piano around it bit of strings

if i decide to go with acoustic guitar i’ll have more fun maybe but i’ll be an ed sheeran or a james blunt or a jason mraz
which is fine
but the only acoustic band i have listened to really is of monsters and men and that’s more because they have a large sound with many band members i cant think of one acoustic guitar singer songwriter that i like

but i strum
chords

hence why i was wondering if there’s any mysterious acoustic guitar synth music

and it’s very rare it seems

cheers guys

( ps im
so
tired today
