Hi,
I've been trying to activate Union (VSTi), Ravage and Kara (FX) for the past 2 days. Activation server appears to be down, as is Soundspot's website https://www.soundspot.audio/and Facebook page (cannot message) https://www.facebook.com/officialsoundspot/. Not looking good is it?
Meanwhile, their plugins continue to be sold at pluginboutique.com https://www.pluginboutique.com/manufact ... -SoundSpot
Anyone know anything more? Hope they are ok

I gave that advice for a reason— PB helped me with a SS issue in the past cuz they sell it.lxworld wrote: Mon Jun 27, 2022 2:04 pm The activation issue has nothing to do with Pluginboutique's support

I was a bit worried about this as I have about a dozen Soundspot plugins, bought over the years as little trinkets when buying other stuff at PB. I've got about half of them installed, so I wanted to see if I could install the others.
I'm happy to say I had no problems at all authorising them all. They seem to have a new system and there are updates to most of the plugins with the only difference seeming to be a new local authorisation system. So I get all dozen plugins installed and working perfectly.
I guess what with the server and website being down they have implemented this new system and that is why they keep on selling them. I even bought the very latest plugin Glitch to check. So I'm confident that I don't need the server anymore as it is now local. The installs were very quick and painless. So it seems you can buy with confidence.
I'm a big fan of the Soundspot plugins. They are basic and sure nothing earth shattering, but they do a job and do it well. They have a nice gui and do the job intended. Glitch is really good and I only paid about 3 pounds for it what with credits I had, and of course, it being heavily discounted. Sure, these are throwaway plugins, but they do work, and you won't have any problems installing them if you grab the latest updates from your PB account. At least I didn't with the dozen or so I have. I'll be picking up a couple more when I buy other stuff from PB, just for fun. That's all these plugins are for sure, but they also work surprisingly well on some stuff (some more than others).
Just a little heads up.
