Can you recommend some Convolution/IR plug-in

Hi all. I’ve got a fair amount of IR files, mostly reverbs. I’d like a plug-in that can play them but also has an interface that makes it easy to group and organize them, and the other feature I need is gain or normalization too.
I am aware of reverberate, any others
It’s important that it’s M1 arm native for Mac, and it likely to stay updated into the future.
Reverberate is a fine option but I’m just trying to get an idea of what’s out there that I might have missed before I buy anything in particular.
Thank you!

Ive been using Fog Convolver for many years. I love it.
I have over 20 thousand IRs collected over years. Sort them into accurately descriptive folders before loading. I have ones that I didn't. There's badly labeled folders housing files with names like classic-fl2b or PLATE MEDIUM 1.

+1 for FoG
Melda MConvolutionMB has a good browser and big waveform/sonogram displays which are useful if you have a lot of IRs. Also you can draw filter envelopes in the display so you can sculpt an IR. It has a variety of other features. Not as fast as FoG due to the many popups, but more hands-on.
There are others, but they are either expensive or simple.

a bit overpriced regularly but it often goes on sale but i have been using REmatrix from Overloud https://www.overloud.com/products/rematrix since it came out (bought for like $80 intro price) and it is an excellent multi convo so you can tweak all aspects and interchange sections and has modulations and EQ... not to mention you can import your own creations or 3rd party IRs. imo it is well worth a 'look-see' / demo and wait for it to go on sale.
i will give a +1 to Fog... have a few friends that use it and they love it but i never grabbed it since i own REmatrix (but i own quite a few audiothing plugs... it's a good company imo)
cheers

Also a fan of Fog Convolver. Though the convolution reverb in Bitwig is decent and has a couple of tricks up its sleeve as well.

Wow I thought I had a lot, probably not even 1000. Where are you finding all these IR’s! I’ve checked the threads on here and GS and haven’t found anywhere close to that amount. Not that I want numbers, but I’d be happy to find some more obscure stuff m. I’m addicted to reverbheyheycnv wrote: Sun Jul 30, 2023 11:11 pm Ive been using Fog Convolver for many years. I love it.

If you use Studio One, Open Air is excellent.

For a lot of Control, Fog as others have mentioned. For something simple that gets the job done, Kilohearts Convolver.

Convology XT. Owned by Wave Arts now, but it gets regular updates, is still free, and comes with a bunch of presets from all their retail IR packs. I bought a couple of the packs, but there's enough of the presets included you may not ever need to (I just wanted all the 80s verbs and the springs).

Oh I just got that. I think Fog has the upper edge for me though in that it can load 2 IR's and has a much nicer interface.mothra wrote: Mon Jul 31, 2023 2:46 am Convology XT. Yeah the browser in Fog2 is pretty good actually. Seems to meet my needs altogether.

I feel like most of my IRs downloads were found through the years in the stickied IR thread in Effects.Aiynzahev wrote: Mon Jul 31, 2023 1:57 amWow I thought I had a lot, probably not even 1000. Samplicity, SignaltoNoise, Past to Future, Hopkins, Nevo, Exquisite Rooms, Studio Nord, Echothief, Convology, and loads of others. Audiothing includes a nice package of IRs with Fog Convolver.

BTW, there is also the convolution synth Phobos. This is the signal flow:

Live's Hybrid Verb is also fine.
