Yea, same here. I wanted to write an email to Tal anyway about something and will mention that issue + your improvement suggestion:

A visual overlay of where the threshold is, and what the size is (I presume it's minimum slice size) would be nice, and much finer control over the values of each.

Great! - it would be good to get some feedback to him from other users. I bombarded him during the 1.x update cycle so he's probably fed up hearing from me

No problem, it is the 2nd bug fix request mail that I just sent, so I have some left before feeling that I bother him too much. I decided to start doing it myself too, because I felt bad for rolling off the work always to @EmptyVessel

(dont know how or if mentioning other users works on here, but am pretty sure he will read through the thread sooner or later anyway)

Thanks folks. It is good to know the troubles I have had with automatic slicing are shared. I just bought the program recently and had a long US July 4 holiday to dig into it along with some other purchases.

With Clap (in the future) will it be possible for a daw to see the note names of the pads?
Thought I read somewhere a few months back that might be possible.

Thought I read somewhere a few months back that might be possible.

That is also possible with VST. I remember old VST 2 instruments from the past who reported note names to the host.

Hi anyone having trouble with the updated MIDI learn function? I'm trying to map the sample parameters, but it seems that only 1 parameter can be mapped, as soon as I try to map another parameter the previous parameter will also be mapped to the new knob....

Secondly why did TAL decide to take out the sample parameter CCs in the new versions..... the sample parameters are the most important ones? Is it possible to revert back for the DAWs that can handle the large amounts of parameters????? I find this very inconvinient I bought the software initially because I was able to control these parameters....

Where can I find previous versions of the software to be downloaded?

working here on the AudioUnit version, just tried 2 different HW controls (roland system8 cutoff and reso) mapped to the samplerate and the bits potmeters.

Did you de-select the midi learn button?

I am trying it out before purchasing. This product was advocated pretty hard by a friend of mine so I want to see what is happening. Is this a bug (windows VST 3 version - 2.0.9)?

1. Load empty Tal-Drum and load a single sample in the first cell (bottom left)
2. go to Pad MATRIX and assign ENV 1 to Tune
3. Save a single pad for later use

now here is my issue. Go to the TAL browser and find that saved Pad preset.

1. load that pad to any slot. and go visit MATRIX

ENV 1 to Tune is not assigned anymore. Instead, is LFO Uniploar assigned to Pan? That surely should not happen. Seems like a bug where parameters shifted on saving or loading.

(p.s. It seems like great software, much better for me than the Battery I used for a decade.

Ok, so the download is actually 2.0.9 but the changelog on the website hasn't been updated yet, so who knows what changed between .7 and .9 : )

No nope! I couldn't realize am I doing something wrong + I was under the impression it might be copy protection or demo restriction.
