So im in the studio every day this past week or so.
Perhaps due to the heat wasn't getting much done for a few days despite spending several hours trying.
Then today and yesterday got a new tune, completed it, turned out good.
So im looking out the window and a bear is looking in, and he winks like, "yea bro, that's a good one."

Then he ate the lawn gnome......

[Constructed Identity]

Just tore apart 80% of the studio to rearrange gear around the new rack.
This has been planned for weeks and I'm finally at the: "I love it when a plan comes together" stage
Next step is a small mixer (8-10 channels) for a group I'll only use one stereo pair of at a time.
I can put it right on the rack and use my excess shorter cables.
All for a hoped-for next synth.

Set the Moog trio into GL MKII and MOOD MKII and just had fun recording

I'll need to come back and piece things together. Either I'm just happy, or I think I'm liking some of these ideas to play with later.

Having a frugal month so catching up on things I bought a while ago and barely used. Fired up Ableton Live for first time in ages and was playing with a Max for Live instrument named Fors Chiral, something I’d loaded before and thought was just a pretty sine based celesta bell type thing, but realise the thing only comes alive when you apply some modulation to its parameters. Sounds bloody good actually, been writing something with it.

The Fors stuff is great, and it’s all about modulation. He’s a former Elektron employee so you’ll likely feel at home with their stuff, especially Opal.

I’ve been going deeper with Live after picking up a laptop to use with Push 3. It’ll mostly just run Live and M4L, so that means digging in and finally getting into M4L.
