I normally put my music on the car system and park at the supermarket and turn it up. Gets me the most listens for sure. Is good at the traffic lights too, if people are waiting to cross. Make sure you are in the lane nearest to kerb when you pull up then open the windows and boost the volume. Guaranteed audience !

Hasn't distribution been discussed a million times already? It's frivolous without marketing. Marketing is the most important aspect of getting your product across and its hardly -if ever - discussed because, well, marketing unsigned artists practically is non existent. Whats the point really.
Ask not what your DAW can do for you, but what you can do with your DAW

Marketing is important in growing yourself as an artist, of course, but having a good distributor that takes care of the management of your tracks to the different platforms and payment and things like that without big issues is pretty important still, no?

I just use Distrokid, who seem like a decent option for very cheap

Not when you (in general) sell one album/track every ten years.
Ask not what your DAW can do for you, but what you can do with your DAW
