Very cool in Bitwig to see the stuff I automated control the knobs automatically on playback (gimmicky or not, it's a helpful feedback loop). Haven't tried MPE yet but that's next on my list
Excellent. If it still has the same discrete ladder filter as the prototype, it's a winner. That filter is likely the reason I preferred its wavetable sounds over the 3rd Wave.

Same! I tried to get MPE going but I didn’t realize it’s in the layers menu, for some reason. It was supposed to come on Thursday but FedEx wasn’t really feeling it. Long story short, I finally got it up and running but today was the first day I could dig into it.

This thing is one big sweet spot, even when it’s being on the hard side. Mostly very intuitive to use, though the oscillator shape control is a bit weird, but once you get used to it, it’s fine. It’s also a bit easy to forget you’re in the mod matrix and start turning knobs and go to a place I wasn’t aiming for, but that’ll come with practice. Overall, it just sound gorgeous.

Sounds like one big happy accident machine. :)

I think once I get in the habit of toggling that “Mod” button, those accidents will subside.

It’s actually a very straight forward synth. Not a sound design playground like a Prophet 12 or REV2. I knew that going in, though. I’ve got those, plus plenty of software, so I see this as a “bread and butter+” instrument. Simple enough to get great results very quickly, but not something you have to search for a sweet spot for an hour.
