How to enable this dark mode? Can't find it on the demo, it only has Classic and Default UI options.

Dark mode is automatically chosen based on your system theme, which means if your operating system or device is set to dark mode, the application will switch to dark mode as well. 6.1 update will allow more options.

Random phase doesn't seem to work for me. Detuning two saw waves has them both reset whether random phase is on or off.

There might be a bug or misconfiguration causing this behavior. Will check.

This is not mentioned at all on the Corona front page. It is also not listed explicitly under the members area. After reading your post, I went back and found it is there under a drop-down menu under "Purchase cross grade or update." I bought V1 of Corona in 2012! I don't mind paying an upgrade fee after all this time, but information up front stating it is a paid upgrade and explaining what to do to get it would be very helpful! I feel so dumb.

You don't have to feel stupid, DiscoDSP doesn't communicate well here. Nowhere is it stated that the update / upgrade is chargeable. Clumsy or intentional?

They announced the release of Corona 6. They did not announce the release of a "free update". In the past they have always stated when the updates were free. I have gotten used to most next versions being some cost... not that I always like that, but these guys gotta eat too.

Generally speaking, @ nearly every gui designer:
Vertical signage on the streets always reads from the top down. But almost universally speaking, gui designers are too lazy, and accept that reading things backwards, from the bottom up, is somehow a good thing. This is troublesome more on synths with a lot of vertical text, and long words...luckily, yours has only two.

I think the vertical labels look fine as they are, with rotated text reading from bottom to top, and they'd also look fine stacked, as you're suggesting. I don't know why the stacked text of street signage should be the standard, since elsewhere (book spines, or the Y axes of quantitative charts for instance), the text is usually just rotated. And the direction that text reads is not even universal, since every book I've read in English has the spine title reading from top to bottom, while every book I've read in Spanish has a spine title reading from bottom to top. There are conventions, but they vary depending on where you are.

Anyway, all that is to say that I think the GUI looks good, much better than it did before. I'm glad to see some updates to this synth, which has always been my favorite of the DiscoDSP lineup!

I bought Corona 5.1 a little less than a year ago.

I'll probably be skipping this one.

I have forty years of books that tell me that some of you are stating absolutes in printing that have never existed.

And the company's lack of transparency has been a major factor of not jumping on board. I just like to keep abreast of the changes and waiting for a no-brainer offer to look past that.

Why is the mod whl and pitch reversed just looks weird. However a synth from Jeskola is well worth the upgrade price instabuy. However some aftertouch would be nice not got a mpe controller sure that would be nice as well and midi learn. Really do like the random wave function though
