Buggr all. My Athlon64 3200+ rarely gets over 30% CPU and we use very few samples so RAM is a non-issue, although I have 1Gb. SiK is buying a laptop for work so when we go to Germany we will use that and as long as its a Pentium-M 1.5GHz or better we will be fine. We used the Pentium-M 1.6 I had for my last job a couple of times with ease.

I have an EDIROL UA-20 USB device. SiK uses his OctaPad to trigger drums from a DrumRack in ORION so the latency is very acceptable with it's ASIO drivers. I like it because when I had a laptop I could use it on my workstation at home and on the lappie without any hassle. The only weirdness with it is that you always have to use the same USB port or else the drivers don't load.
