Probably Monday or Tuesday if it didn't go out on Friday. There's at least a day or two lag when we make the switchover from pre-order to order which was just done a few days ago. But, yes, you probably will be one of the first to get it. Have fun!

Good for you! Must be making music (the #1 good reason not to be always on the forum!).

Hope all is well to you, Mr. Fusion!

Got the emails from esoundz. Drum group buy shipped on the 17th and SS2 shipped today, 12/20.

While technically part of the U.S., California delivery times always seem to take a while. At this point I have no other alternative but to delay Christmas (PC message...please substitute alternate winter holiday if you so desire.) Unfortunately this can not be done as a one-off and therefore I am forced to reschedule for everyone.

I am sorry if this is an incovenience for anyone but I am sure you can understand that Christmas (see above substitution reference) can not go forward without these items in my scroogey little hands. Although my kids are having a hard time with this, I know you, the adult k-V-r readers, will manage to muddle through.

I will release Christmas immediateluy upon my receiving of said goods.

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Guess what I just opened up?

My Christmas gift: Sonic Synth 2!!!!

And it has my $99 upgrade to Sampletank 2 XL as well as the free 2004 Holiday Capsule CD.

Very exciting. Going to install now! :)

But only just! :D

I know I'm going to get ST2--and I'll have to pay full price, so it might be awhile. I'm using ST2 Free at the Chrismas (see dgkenny's note above) concert at the Hyatt Poipu Beach.

Arrrgh! Why did my addiction to cheepnis cause me to opt for the free ground shipping when I ordered!

My copies of both SS2 and the Combi Kits Drums are languishing in the holiday UPS ground shipping maelstrom along with millions of fruitcakes!

Don't worry fellas, yours will arrive soon enough and when it does I think you'll be very happy.

I've got all the sounds installed and in the last couple of hours have been demoing them in order (using Sampletank LE for now). I finally made it through the guitars. My estimate is that is only about 10% of the total sounds. This thing is massive!!!

Just in case anyone is interested, here is what I found in my goody box:

1) Sonik Synth 2 in a DVD Case. The case has a round sticker on the front that says "Sonik Synth 2 Upgrade". In the case...
a) A DVD labeled Sonik Synth 2 Sounds DVD 1
b) A DVD labeled Sonik Synth 2 Sounds DVD 2
c) A CD labeled Sonik Synth 2 Plug-in Installer
d) A White Registration Card with serial number

2) Sonik Capsules 2004 Holiday Capsule in a DVD case
a) A CD labeled 2004 Holiday Capsule

3) A CD labeled Sampletank 2 Plug-in Installer and its associated red registration card (note, I ordered the $99 add-on Sampletank 2XL engine as a part of my package).

The reason I wanted to mention the details is two-fold. Obviously, I'm thinking some of you might want to hear a report. But importantly, I thought it might be good to mention - in case it isn't already clear - that the Sonik Synth 2 SOUNDS are on DVD media. So, if you don't have DVD drive, be thinking about a Plan B to get it all installed.

Again, for those of you that have ordered - don't fret - it will arrive soon enough. And when it does, you'll have a lot of listening to do. Its' fun!

Merry Christmas!

Thanks Randy. Yes, plan B should be getting a DVD player which is about $30. and worth it so you can load high end products like Sonik Synth 2, Studiophonik and others that are so large they have to be on DVDs (otherwise it'd be over 20 discs and take forever to install, plus the price would go up).

Congrats on being the first one to get Sonik Synth 2 (or at least to say it here). Enjoy! Don't forget to load the combis from the top center of the module under the black triangle. There's hundreds more sounds there too that are a big part of the module.

I will probably not get mine until January so I will now be very adult and throw a

ABSOLUTELY! I just wanted to share the word with the group because if anyone was in that situation where they do not currently have a way to read DVD media, they would have the heads up to go out and get a drive now so that when the goodies arive, playtime would not be delayed.

Again, thanks for such a great buy!!!
