I found that to be somewhat true with the reverbs, but haven't really detected it in Delay.

I keep Replika XT (which I also liked better than Echoboy) around along with Valhalla Delay, and doubt I'll ever bother with any Soundtoys plugins (I have 3 or 4 on a hard drive somewhere, deleted from my main PC - so far they just don't seem to be my kind of plugins that I really like), but, who knows what the future holds. For a long time, the future only ever held aging and tiny little Soundtoys plugins, but they seem to finally be doing something about that.

Eh I use both. I tend to use Valhalla when I want an '80s/90s' digital delay sound, Echoboy handles the darker DM-2 analog stuff. Space Echo duties usually go to the Arturia. Been using the PSP42 instead of all of them lately though..

I’ve been spinning these 2 a lot lately. I already own both but still trying to decide which one best comparing them to some outboard delays.

I convinced myself that Valhalla actually sounded better in Digital and Clarity mode (after stating that Echoboy is better in the mix) but still go back to Echoboy. I think it sounds better in ping pong mode. But the highs are harsher.

Fck knows I’m just going mad around this. I guess the GUI influences me a lot. Echoboy will sound more like a rack delay cause it looks like it and Valhalla will sound more like a spreadsheet. Wish there was a definitive push towards one of them. Maybe I should give up and just stick to outboard

On the top of this - shoot me I know Waves is not the post popular here nowadays- but I quite liked H-Delay in my tests. Very often more than the other two
