With all due respect. What does whether I made any cool sounds have to do with requesting PARAWAVE to update its customers as a matter of appreciation and respect for their customers.

They probably like most people, took a break over summer. When you are coding stuff everyday over months, you eventually go into burnout mode and need to take a holiday so when you do return, you are more mentally fresh to continue.zeph wrote: Mon Aug 14, 2023 3:00 pm When are Parawave going to update its customers on the progress for the next version/roadmap??????![]()

Seeing how often you asked about Rapid updates, I thought you were a sound design master. There are many sounds you can't make with the Rapid Due to the lack of features.zeph wrote: Mon Aug 14, 2023 3:20 pmWith all due respect. Uh For example, a Consistency sound even though the timbre changes one after another.THE INTRANCER wrote: Mon Aug 14, 2023 3:55 pmWhat sounds can't you make with Rapid?coLsky wrote: Mon Aug 14, 2023 3:43 pm There are many sounds you can't make with the Rapid Due to the lack of features.

Looks like some people are tired of Parawave's attitude. Can't say that I blame them...chk071 wrote: Mon Aug 14, 2023 3:22 pm Looks like they were tired of some people's attitude here. Can't say that I blame them...
Communication with your customer base is not a radical concept in the business world and companies that don't communicate might find themselves out of the business world.
If people from various places on the internet keep saying a bit of software is "dead" then there is either a lack of communication from the developer or the product is indeed dead.
People have been waiting for Zebra 3 for well over a decade but you don't see it being called "dead" because at least the developer communicates with the user base.
A simple periodic progress report or "we're still in business and going strong" would go a long way to stop the "Rapid is abandonware" posts, not only here but on other forums and social media around the web. A three minute post is not asking too much and shouldn't be too much effort to protect the reputation of your company.
At any rate I don't need an update for Rapid but I do find myself reaching for VPS Avenger more often because it seems like a more solid choice for long term viability and growth.

Well said. All it takes is a few regular posts from the developer, just to show they are still interested in their product and that they are following what their customers are saying in forums.Teksonik wrote: Mon Aug 14, 2023 5:15 pmzeph wrote: Mon Aug 14, 2023 3:00 pm When are Parawave going to update its customers on the progress for the next version/roadmap??????![]()

I mean really - how much effort is required by the developer Parawave to just say a few words
