This is basically the same Apple display panel, but cheaper.
One thunderbolt cable connects all accessories and power.
Image is the best on the market.
Highly recommended.
Monitor 27” or 32”? To 4k or not to 4k?

I'm using 4k at @120% scaling
6k would be overkill.-

Some of the most important considerations on a question/post like this are: Budget and intended use. It looks like, primarily, you’re looking for a large monitor to connect up your M2 MacBook Pro for non-graphic intensive work. Mostly music/Pro Tools. No budget.
I recently upgraded an aging 27” iMac to a Mac mini M2 Pro. I needed a monitor that would work for it. My use for this system is primarily Logic Pro. Little to no photo editing, though I do use Lightroom to manage and light edit photos. Based on recommendations and reviews I ended up with a Samsung CJ79 34” 2K monitor. It has extra USB connectivity, thunderbolt 3 and works a treat with the M2 mini. What it also has.. is a great price point. Like I said — for me, little to no deep photo editing. There may be better monitors, if you really need 4K (2K does fine for me). My priorities were great picture, ultra-wide screen real estate, good connectivity, and decent cable management. the Samsung nailed that.

I found the sweet spot (for me) to be 32" 1440p.
I had a 32" 4k screen before that but I found the UI size to be an issue on PC, even with scaling. Was less of an issue with Mac, but then Ableton Live wouldn't scale properly (for me) to 4k. It was also more screen real estate than I actually needed.
Refresh rate is more or less irrelevant for productivity use.

Sounds like there is flicker at low brightness levels? I havent noticed that on my CJ79. The review posted above knocks it for viewing angles also.. but I hadnt noticed that. The thing is huge.. so I don't think I could get to a weird angle where i am using it . That said.. there are definitely better monitors, if you want to spend more money. It's been a solid monitor for me so far though. Other bits that benefit me, are additional connectivity usb/thunderbolt. I've hang a couple of SSD drives off the back along with a usb hub. Specs say it is VESA compatible, but Im just using the stand it came with.
