. . . and one of the best shows I've seen in a number of years ! & I don't care that I might be kicking the hornet's nest here but he is very special.
Uber creative composition, in-your-face attitude with multi-layered instruments like crazy. He's pretty much all business on stage with none of the pandering "make some effing noise !" instructive notes to the crowd. If you get a chance; you must see him
Cheers

Steve Duda did an interview talking about when Deadmau5 was just starting out he would make a new track every night. Quantity > Quality

I've never seen him live, but it looks like it would be a great show. He was a regular over on tranceaddict.com forums early on and has always been a respectable guy IMO. He still popped in occasion during the height of his popularity to contribute and talk production, so you've got to respect that. I never really got into his music, except for some of his work with Kaskade and Haley, but I've found myself more recently listening back to some of his older stuff and it's aged pretty well. He gets a lot of hate, but that says more about the people doing the hating than it does about him. He's always strived for top-notch productions and he seems like great guy who created his own brand and is just living the dream. More power to him.

I guess you have to be there. I've listened to a lot of his recordings and they do absolutely nothing for me outside the live show context. They sound like preset pack demo records, and sometimes not even that good.

Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.
