I am lucky. Not my kind of music, so I will pass.

Not mine either but this one actually does a lot more than just acid basslines - including some nice ambient sequences

I know. But I started to downsize my setup, and D16 had to go, too, so no new acid line right now. And I have full TAL except J8 plus full u-he synths and several more, so plenty to toy around with.aMUSEd wrote: Tue Aug 22, 2023 3:10 pm Not mine either but this one actually does a lot more than just acid basslines - including some nice ambient sequences

I see what you did there with the title. This really does look like a masterpiece from Arturia. 14 different distortion algorithms, and that Polymetric sequencer, amazing stuff.

I'm not sure why Arturia hates drums but it's clear they do. I refuse to give them a single penny until they apologize to everyone who listens to music with drums and do something to rectify the anti-drum bias that clearly exists at the highest levels within Arturia. Only a change in leadership can rectify that at this point. Nothing less will do.

a shame they didn't throw out the rule book and add a "voice swap" mode where the oscillator is replaced by 4 op FM engine for FM acid weirdness. this would be interesting to me.

Just listening to the sound demo, it once again appears to me that they didn't quite get the resonance right. Gotta demo it though to judge it more fair.Seelachsfilet wrote: Tue Aug 22, 2023 3:48 pm dont know how close it sounds to the real thing but this sounds and looks amazing
That said, I think it's cool that they approached the 303. Fits their portfolio.
