New versions of Modular V and Mini V I'm going to guess. Definitely don't want Augmented Piano/Brass, not even minifreak.

I want a modular environment ala Softube but with better UI, multicore support, polyphony, modules from all Arturia synths, samplers and effects plus drums and sequencers. They could stop there

Does anyone think there's even a remote possibility that Acid could be an SQ80 deal which doesn't appear in V Collection? I never did understand why that was standalone.

The SQ80 V is in V Collection 9. Are you confusing it with Pigments?

SQ80 is included in V Collection 9.

I never upgraded to 9 so the SQ80 has remained separate in my Arturia Center and also my mind. And yes Pigments likely conflated it. Am an idiot.

Other half-remembered things - am I right this time in thinking you got an additional discount for V Collection 9 if you also owned the SQ80?

I think so, but the best is to log in to your account and see your price on the site or through Analog Lab.

Acid V is something I did not expect at all, judging by the number of 303s already made. Secretly hoped for a Polivoks.. :/

Fun little kit though, so good to play with it! If someone can post examples of layered sounds and experiments with the midi out that's very welcome!

I was really asking if getting the Acid now would likely mean an additional discount on V10 based on past behaviour.

My price is $69, helpfully just above the "oh sod it" threshold, so I'll probably wait anyway.

Oh yes, that's how I had SQ80 and it gave me a generous discount for V-Collection 9.

I'll also wait with the purchase, demo is enough to toy around and am not in a hurry for acid now.

I think I’m right that going on the last release V10 will be 199 or 149 if you own one of the instruments. I waited a year and picked it up the whole package for in their sale for 99. Not overly fussed with the new offerings so may wait for V11. Updates to the older emulations may swing it.
Of course we have had world wide inflation since then so no surprise if Arturia up their prices. On the other hand there is lots of competition in the market.

I hope Arturia will make it possible to use different data folders for their synths and effects. The V Collection keeps growing in size, so I'd like to move it to an external drive, but this is not possible without moving the FX Collection there as well.
