Obviously that would be cheating. If you are going to choose hardware, you'd also have to stick to a single vendor, instead of a single plugin dev.

I'd probably go back to Orion and use Synapse plugins with it. Studio One comes with some nice included instruments but they aren't really the sorts of things we use/need. Orion has great instruments, even better effects and their plugins are all top shelf.

For sure my Daw would have to be Cubendo. Without a doubt.

I don't think I can work properly without Kontakt so the developer would have to be Native Instruments.

If I could have lived without Kontakt, it would have been Softube, since I love both their effects and their model and modular stuff.

Love u-he's synths but not a big fan of their effects else they would have knocked Softube out.

Bitwig + U-he (would be painful to lose Valhalla)

I knew you would say that haha...

Everyone could. In fact I'd guess most people starting out get by just fine with Garage Band and its bundle or a Lite version of a DAW + some cheap or free soft synth.

But if I had to choose it would be Live Suite + either Falcon or Arturia Sound Explorers

Falcon UVI is a good choice because it brings all these sounds, sample packs and all....

On garage band on IPad I don't find a way to create automation except for volume.... it is really really really basic....

Stranded island with tsunami/typhoon/army of crab powered electricity, i'm bringing Ableton Live. Suite got some "ok" classical instruments, so it would count as "the bundle", but really, for anything electronic, it would be more than enough for me.

Despite the superb integration between U-He and bitwig, I think I would take Bitwig and Reason studios as RRP .
Their ecosystem is so rich.... And as of now they are the master of physical synthesis.... which I can't abandon even in an island with crabs (well, it depends of the crab size).

Depends on the type of music you make, for techno, house, and other electronic genres it would be possible for me. Probably Ableton Live+ The

But if you are doing more pop or soundtracks/instrumental music then reaching for libraries sometimes is a must. Maybe Cubase+all the VSL line.

I can stick to one company for everything :) that would be Steinberg as Halion 7 can cover everything I need from synths and instruments. So, I can live only with Cubase + Halion 7.

Ok course, it can be also Live Suite alone, Bitwig + XLN Audio, Reason Studio alone, Logic alone or S1 + Korg (for example). I think I can live with any combination from the above as DAWs nowadays have at least 75% of what I need!

It's a very easy task if you have ever participated in "one synth only" competition 😉 However, for more than one song, it gets tiring (especially without good drums).
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I think most people (or maybe just me) start out curating a pick and mix of the “best” (in other words our favourite) plugs from different devs. Then we get sucked in by the bundle offers with a “I’m sure I’ll use them all at some point” justification. Then you end up with a large (potentially huge) collection of stuff with duplicate functionality. We (I) then justify this because the duplicates are subtly different but we end up using our favourites most of the time anyway.
So from a cost point of view and the potential distraction factor and the hassle of maintaining updates across multiple accounts, licensing systems and installation managers you could argue this doesn’t make a lot of sense.
So the obvious answer is to go back to step one a curate a smaller collection of your favourites. My thought experiment was just to ask the question are any of the bundles on offer comprehensive enough to keep me happy or does each dev really only have one or two gems in their portfolio compared to others.
Taking Arturia as an example, the collection is huge now and probably covers most bases and I do like the idea of being able to manage updates etc through one installation manager. I am a big fan of U-he synths but had forgotten how comprehensive their effects collection is. I like UVIs effects collection but hadn’t considered that Falcon might cover everything else as someone has suggested.

None of this is important of course but it’s always interesting to hear other peoples thoughts and suggestions.

I think I could go with Ableton and stock plugins alone. If I had to pick a bundle I guess I would go with Arturia. But I'd rather pick 5 single plugins instead of a bundle where like 80% or so of the content don't get touched anyways

With FL Studio Signature bundle and NI 14 Ce yes for sure.
