As part of our commitment to Upgrade ALL Nomad Factory Products, we are pleased to announce the pre release of the Pulse-Tec EQs V2 (final beta version).

The official release will be in early September but users can download the final beta version as of today and post comments in our development forums.

Pulse-Tec EQs v2 features a completely rewritten DSP code, a brand new resizable UI with two skins, the new HLF-3 filter module, along with many other improvements...

*This will, as always, be a FREE Upgrade for all previous owners 😉
**Pulse-Tec EQs V1 will remain in your plug-in folder (for backward compatibility)
Would be nice to see the Blue Tubes pack get some upgrades.

I'm not sure what order they'll be updated. Cosmos and the British Bundle would be high on my wish list.

I called up some of the old Blue Tube plugins and they're just way too small at 1980x1080 to be useful for me.

I've been trying the Pulse-Tec 2 beta and the larger GUI is definitely welcome. I'm not sure if I prefer the sound of version 2 over version 1 but they're so close that using version 2 makes more sense.

If you own Pulse-Tec version 1 then the update is free. :tu:

I was about to sell my integral pack license for that very reason. Nice plugins though, light on CPU, Echoes is one of my favorite delays.

I tried some Nomad Factory plugins many years ago, and found there was a fundamental flaw in their design. I believe it was that their behavior changed depending on the sample rate.

Is that still the case?

I think it's positive that these older plugins are maintained for free.

Especially since the developer and founder Bernie Torelli passed away in 2016.

I'm going to take a closer look at the Pulse-Tec EQs and the Analog Studio Rack as a result.

Try the demos? I'm not sure how their behavior changed but then I tend to work at the same sample rate all the time.

Who on earth needs yet another analog synth and so on ? The Nomad Factory plugins have been around for a very long time so were some of the first "usual suspects".

Yes it's great to see the NF plugins getting some love again. I stopped using them when Bernie passed away as NF went into a period of uncertainty then. I try to stay away from abandoned plugins.

Then as I said before the GUIs have shrunk as my monitor resolutions have gotten bigger over the years so they sat in my plugin folder largely ignored.

It's good news they're getting updated but we'll see how long term the support is or is it just a short term cash grab. Time will tell. They seem to be selling them for fair prices so that's a good sign.

The NF plugins sounded good back in the day but of course a lot of competition has come along in those years so the individual will have to decide for themselves if the NF plugins still hold up or not.

I bought the Integral bundle probably 15 years ago so it's pretty cool to see these back in circulation. NF are really color plugins, I never thought of buying any other EQ emulations for instance, between these for color, EQuilibrium and any DAWs built in ones surgical EQ's are covered. This one is a personal favorite.
