Sorry, I am a slowpoke todayBluGenes wrote: Fri Aug 25, 2023 4:53 pm Maybe I worded that wrong, not delete the preset from the saved list of presets, but, remove the applied preset from the phrase, it does not revert the phrase back to original state.
EDIT: I just read your reply, thanks!

To follow up my own reply, DP11 and RC AU playback works perfectly with beta4. That was probably a temporary issue when I found that it did not work. The AU plug-in works in some other DAWs where I tried: REAPER, Studio One 6, Logic Pro X.musicdevelopments wrote: Fri Aug 25, 2023 3:03 pmVery strange, all plug-ins work here without this error (on Apple Silicon though).lulukom wrote: Wed Aug 23, 2023 8:41 pm Hello Attila! Unfortunately, 5.03b also did not solve the problem of plugins. AU and VST 3 do not work.
I installed DP11 on macOS and I am testing it with RC AU. The UI works, with the usual inconveniences for DP11+RC AU. But there is an issue: the playback does not work at all, either from RC or DP11. This works in all other DAWs, and it will take some time to fix it.
Thanks for the feedback!
Attila
Thanks,
Attila

Hi. I'm having trouble locating the V5 vst3 in both Reaper and FL Studio.
Both have got the correct vst3 path for scanning and the RapidComposerV5.vst3 file is definitely present in the VST folder.
Am I missing something here?
Cheers. Mike.

Hi,
I'm trying to import a library of midi files. Inside the folder each genre has a folder, then another folder by supplier and then each supplier splits their library into bass, melody, chords etc.
The problem with the import is that rather than creating the directory structure, a huge amount of folders are created, one for each bottom level directory. e.g. a folder might be named
DNB/OK_Midi_/Melody
DNB/OK_Midi/Bass
etc
etc
what would be great is to create the actual directory structure but it doesn't
Do I have a setting wrong? I remember is V3/V4 versions it would create the correct structure

Hi Attila. I've done quite a few tweaks and tried different options to turn on the RC and still the plugins don't work on two of my Macs (High Sierra).I think it has something to do with old video cards, because I always have different problems with the image in the RC. But perhaps this is a problem with working with DP. It's a pity, but I will work with the program without plugins.
I have a request.. I often use the "collect scales for selected chords" function. This is a great feature ! And there are inconveniences. Firstly, I ask you to make a shortcut "collect scales for selected chords" with the opening of a separate window with a suggestion of the corresponding scales. And this window should not spontaneously close. Thank you .

Hi. Just starting with v5 here.
It seems the structure of the installation has changed notably as compared to the installation structure of v4.
If our goal is to "pull forward" our old accumulated library data and work, while still being able to access whatever is new with the v5 distribution, what would be the recommended sequence of steps (directory/file copies) to do so?
Also, (under Windows) is installation in the Users\Public area (which is where the v5 beta installed for me) now basically required? (If it takes jumping major hoops to avoid, I consider it required, as I don't want to create complications that will bite me later.)
Looking forward to getting in the swing of v5!

I'd like to correct my request ... Perhaps a better option would be to simply add the "Collect scales corresponding to the selected chord or chords" drop-down menu to the master track (scale selection). This would be much more convenient than the menu disappearing after a single selection in the master track window. Possibly with a modified shortcut.. It would be a great help in the work. OK, I am back, and I'll fix all reported issues shortly.
In the last 7-8 days I had to totally rewrite displaying and event handling of the RC plug-ins, which is now using a nice solution and works better than before. This was difficult on macOS and took more time than planned.
Thanks!
Attila

That's great Attila,
Does this mean we will now have the option to apply syncopation and add gaps and rests with the Rhythm updates . like you can with Captain Chords / Pilot Melody & Orb composer ?

I'm not sure if I am missing something or if this has been reported previously. When I add RC v5 to Gig Performer, there is no ability to scale or resize the window. I did not find a setting in either program. Is this something to change in RC v5 or do you think it is a GP 4.7 issue? Thanks!
