its a HP filter, only... different. I would think this filtershape would be nice to have, when carving out stuff in the low end. At least, I would like to try it. Any ideas?
Excuse my crude mspaint picture

the vertical axis is the 0db line??
exactly.The exact same frequency? What?
because its not clear what its a graph of, obviously. its frequency versus some unspecified thing. It's just an arbitrary HP filter cutoff at say 250hz. How did you manage to read the graph so wrong
i got attenuation from the usual frequency response graphs used to demonstrate filter curves, including HP filters. And I said it was a HP filter didn't i? Yes I think I did say that, so where did you even get attenuation from.. Damn I'm flabbergasted by your reply tbh

It isn't a valid frequency/amplitude plot. You haven't provided any information about what other kind of graph it might be.

as a wizard, i find this offensive.kritikon wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 9:29 pm I think the question is in the wrong forum. "Spells" would be the right one. Harry or more likely Hermione might know the answer...
