I am already very very happy with dr008. I've been converting all my sf2 drum kits over. Sorry SFZ, youre only for melodic sampled instruments now

They are from MusicLab and are Windows only. Look in the Effects section on the upper right of this page. Thesy work in two ways : 1) as MFX or midi FX plugins in hosts such as Cakewalk Sonarand Cubase (with an adaptor I think -But I don't know the deatils since I won't go anywhere near Cubase now); and 2) as modules within Dr008 and can be used in any VST or Dxi host. This last use is very flexible. Slicydrummer is a midi groove box of for steady beats which can be customized (but only duple time right now - no odd nummber time signatures) that can be programmed and assigned to any of the 96 Dr008 pads to play selected pads within Dr008 of your choosing. Fillindrummer is similar but is best for one shot fills. Within Dr008 Slicy and Fillin are triggered by midi notes and are velocity dependent.
There is a 14 demo avaiable I would suggest you try but remember one thing - if you try you will want to buy!

I second that. The combination of DR-008, Slicy and FillIn is fantastic.Beardedone wrote:...I would suggest you try but remember one thing - if you try you will want to buy!
