My god, if there's one thing I can't stand, it's people who can't pronounce company names properly, not just once, or twice but repeatedly... like this, verbal diarrhea onslaught. Couldn't make it through this, so can anyone enlighten me about what happened to Technics? I actually have a Technics Hifi amp from a stacking system. A brilliant piece of kit that lasted for over 20 years for me.

Spoiler alert: turns out they went out of business because customers kept pronouncing their name “Teach-nix” and the Best Buy salespeople had no idea what they were asking for, so they just sold them a Sony instead. Onkyo suffered a similar fate - blank stares from Best Buy employees when customers asked about those “Oinky-nos”

I saw some vid ages ago where the guy mispronounced Nokia all the way through - just why?
