Hi All...

I have this question thats plauging me and wonder if someone here can help...

I have FL5 and a TC Powercore DSP card with the Access Virus Soft version for it... The TC Virus can instance 4 parts on one DSP chip. Each of these parts are sent out on a different midi channel. Part 1 =Midi channel 1 up to Part 4 = Midi Channel 4.

Now each of these parts can be assigned to channels in FL, but what i am strugglin with is how to :

1. Get the Midi channels synced between Virus & FL to get sounds.
2. How this should be done in FL?

I get the sounds from part one of the virus only. I believe it may have something to do with the Midi Out device in Fl, but i'm not sure.

Can someone here who knows FL and its MIDI routing please xplain how you take a VST with multiple MIDI outs and assign them individually to seperate channels, or group them all together on one to create a layered texture?

Your help is much appreciated!!

:D :) :D

You load more midi outs, then assign the correct port to the gui and to the virus, then play each channel.
Like this for example:

midi out 1-bad ass bass preset-then make sure you're
actually PLAYING on midi out 1 to trigger this preset

midi out 2-your lead preset-then make sure you're actually PLAYING on midi out 2 to trigger this preset

etc
etc

It makes sense when you think about it like that.
