I think adoption of new technology in the audio software industry it is rather slow, but the reason is that users want backwards compatibility a lot, so it is hard for companies to push forward.cfree wrote: Tue Aug 29, 2023 6:22 pm I am just surprised that everyone is hung up on NI and 20+ old tech no matter how they dress it. We should be looking at new technologies like Soundpaint and the next-generation engine that they have created. We are in this today and the future with AI and ways to make creating more accessible, not more complex or challenging. I'm tired of workarounds and conforming to old tech limitations. Soundpaint affords us the freedom to create and just play again. If you still need to check it out, you should- the engine is free.

Ok, time to get rid of all that ancient 20yr old tech. Violins? Drums? in the dumpster.cfree wrote: Tue Aug 29, 2023 6:22 pm I am just surprised that everyone is hung up on NI and 20+ old tech no matter how they dress it. We should be looking at new technologies like Soundpaint...
Use the mighty Soundpaint instead of that wimpy Reaktor.
