Massive sample libraries with a useful front engine for layering, sound design and tweaking VS massive emulation collections of individual synths such as V collection.

for the amount of money people spend on synth plugins, plus sampled synths like this they could just buy a couple of Behringers and call it a day. The Model D and Pro 800 is all you really need.

Then you need an audio interface with 4 ins, and cables, and you lose total recall.vertibration wrote: Wed Aug 30, 2023 4:34 pm for the amount of money people spend on synth plugins, plus sampled synths like this they could just buy a couple of Behringers and call it a day. No thanks. I stick to Diva which sounds better anyway.

Will there be upgrades at resellers?
If you plan on purchasing your first Universal Audio hardware, you can get a free additional plugin. Just send a PM.

The front page of the UVI website says "upgrades available" really little. I have no use for this but did note that it has MPE support which is good.
Also, if you get the upgrade, note that the UVI portal installer thing sometimes doesn't see the version 1 of some romplers to install when you have version 2 and you have to fiddle with it a little to get it to show them (for a fresh install, assuming you have neither installed)

I've never seen them offer this. I think upgrade discounts are through the website only.

Hi.
SA4 seems like alot of power for the $ for those interested in MPE.
So, being a Linnstrument player, I purchased it.
Getting started, I'm noticing that when MPE is turned on the character of presets changes very much, along the lines of a big volume drop (or perhaps filter closure). What sounded good and was instantly playable now sounds no-good and is no longer instantly playble. Sigh.
I'm also noticing that when you turn on MPE, it is only on until you call up another preset, and then you have to turn it on again.
Both of the above are significant negative impacts, IMO, preventing the MPE experience with SA4 from being what one wants it to be.
Do others observe the same?

It helps to be subscribed or you might not know about the upgrade price.Octave_Jumper wrote: Wed Aug 30, 2023 6:10 pmI've never seen them offer this. I think upgrade discounts are through the website only.
Oddly, upgrade prices are only temporary, and expire quickly.
Whats new beside the GUI?

Mmmh, wish they would invest the development time in improving Falcon instead...

Last major update was 2.8 in October 22. Maybe 3.0 isn’t far off.Hanz Meyzer wrote: Wed Aug 30, 2023 9:27 pm Mmmh, wish they would invest the development time in improving Falcon instead...

Either a bug or then MPE was added as a mere after thought and no actual Quality Assurance testing was done on this.sj1 wrote: Wed Aug 30, 2023 7:39 pm Hi.
