$49 upgrade as a Synth Anthology 2 owner, but I have barely used SA2. SA4 looks interesting though.

Looks kind of interesting until you get to to system requirements:
- UVI Falcon and ilock required -
Never ever will I install either of these.

iLok is needed but no dongle required, its a very simple copy protection system.
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Totally independent VST/AU without the need of Falcon or ilock

Unfortunately yes
And that’s the reason why I don’t use it.

But I don't get why you would come into a UVI thread to say that.
It's like going into a chinese restaurant to declare you wouldn't eat there unless they had italian food.

Thank god they do.
That's the reason I bought nearly all of their products.

iLok has gotten better over time. My experience has been quick and with little effort, and if you move to a new computer, its already on your dongle.
Could be worse....
