I was a little confused when I received an email from SSL offering a bundle :
Harrison Bass Flow and
SSL Guitar Strip for USD 39
https://store.solidstatelogic.com/plug- ... 0E,YMEXN,1
Do SSL own Harrison or just a
collab?
Whatever, I expect Harrison to add
all SSL plugins to their DAW Mixbus 32c now...

kinda interested in the bass thing, but chorus? instead of distortion/saturation? weird.
I'm sure the guitar strip would be useful for other instruments, but how many SSL strips does one need to own?
the EQ i don't need, but the spectral compression and character thang might be useful.
Seems like would be good for bass GUITAR, but as for using it on synth basses not sure.
gas is gone

Harrison Bass Flow is now included in the SSL download manager...assume all Harrison products will be there eventually. I gave it a quick demo and liked what I heard but noted it adds something like 50ms of latency.

Being that SSL is a company that REQUIRES iLok to authorize puts Harrison in my "be wary of upcoming policy changes". I really liked Mixbus but have since stopped even opening it. Fortunately, I hadn't committed to it in an actual production way.
I know they're both good products, but for me, iLok is always a flag of corruption to steer clear of since I've been burned by PACE before and caught them in multiple lies during support correspondence that never resulted in a corrective resolution.
