How does Preset discovery work? I do not see Altitude's presets in Bitwig's preset browser.

Preset discovery is still an early draft extension. I think it will be supported in the next release of Bitwig, but I'm not sure. I don't think there are any public builds of hosts that support it yet. It's been added to the CLAP validator though, and Altitude passes the relevant tests.

Looks like it should be a good week for CLAP news.

For those who don't know, Bitwig and u-he are finalists for the 38th Annual TEC Awards, Production Essentials Category as "U-he and Bitwig - CLAP."

Come by the Bitwig booth (number 10606) at the Anaheim Convention center Hall C to learn more about what's new with Bitwig Studio. We're sharing the spot with our friends at u-he to present CLAP, the new plug-in standard we developed together.

It seems we'll certainly get more information by Wednesday about CLAP.

Audio Damage Rough Rider 3 has a CLAP version in its 3.2.0a installer, here:

Included readme states that 3.2.0 is the first version with CLAP support for all supported platforms (Win/Mac/Linux)

This is a cool one: Bird's MIDI Cap. Drop it into your track somewhere, and it records all MIDI it receives, and passes it through, even if the track is not currently recording. This gives Bitwig auto-capture similar to Ableton.

Does it record midi channels? How does it handle MPE?

It's supposed to record everything - if not, it's probably a bug and you should report it to bird...

One small error I spotted:

Also one feature request for this site: It would be cool if I could sort search results by release date - e.g. to find the most recently added instrument plugins quickly.

Wasted Audio has DLAY and DL3Y out with CLAP support.

Also all their plugins are on v1.0.0 now and HVCC is on v0.9.0
