Can’t believe this thing is completely free. It rivals any of the current commercial tape delay plugins.

Indeed it does. I just hope it's stable. None of VOS's previous plugins are reliable enough to use in important projects - they all randomly stop passing audio through at some point. Many synthmaker/flowstone plugins have this problem (Sir Elliot's fantastic plugins of old were all unusable due to synthmaker issues). I'm keen to see people's experiences in the coming days/weeks.metalifuxx wrote: Mon Sep 04, 2023 11:01 pm Can’t believe this thing is completely free. When I use HiDPI compatibility mode in Cockos Reaper (so as to make the GUI twice as big and useable) and try to use the larger GUI, the GUI itself starts becoming corrupted and has to be reset. This doesn't happen on the mkII version. So basically I now have to use the original tiny GUI.
Also, just like the original mkII version, there is no ability to know what values the sliders and dials are making on the GUI, you just have to go by their positions.
There is notable difference but also improvement in the sound, so I'll continue to use it. NastyDLA is actually my favourite delay plugin, and so I just put up with all these problems. Like I said previously, it's a shame a better GUI wasn't created, but I'm happy it's at last in vst3 form now.

I have a feeling it's the graphics side of things that causes issues with synthmaker plugins. AFAIK Bootsie only uses synthmaker for the gui (I seem to remember reading that somewhere) - and the same issue of not passing audio is present with lots of other synthmaker plugins in my experience.egbert101 wrote: Tue Sep 05, 2023 8:32 pm When I use HiDPI compatibility mode in Cockos Reaper (so as to make the GUI twice as big and useable) and try to use the larger GUI, the GUI itself starts becoming corrupted and has to be reset.
