Friends, how do I make the effect layers switch with one button? I can do this when the layers outside the container are "fx selected", but how to achieve this when there are 2 layers in the container?

Activate the Button mod arrow to assign destinations
Click and drag up in the index field at the top (says 1 - TRS in your image)
Now your button should work to switch the layer

Yes, I do everything like that, but the index only changes from -1 to 1, not from 1 to 2 (this is necessary for correct switching)!! At the same time, automation works correctly - the values change from 1 to 2, while the layers are switched as needed. But the button can't do itpdxindy wrote: Tue Sep 05, 2023 3:43 pm Activate the Button mod arrow to assign destinations

In order not to create a new topic, please tell me how in Bitwig can make a signal in mono in the desired frequency range? For example, on a bass track to make mono below 200 Hz? I use third-party plugins, but what can be quickly applied from the standard, built-in ones?

You can use a multiband fx-2, set the frequency split at 200 Hz and add a tool device in the most left container. Set this tool device to mono and you're done.Anatolio wrote: Wed Sep 06, 2023 6:37 am In order not to create a new topic, please tell me how in Bitwig can make a signal in mono in the desired frequency range? Thank you, very simple and convenient! Thank you so much. now there is no need to use heavy third-party pluginsmuzicxs wrote: Wed Sep 06, 2023 11:01 amYou can use a multiband fx-2, set the frequency split at 200 Hz and add a tool device in the most left container. You're welcome! It's true that you can build many things yourself in Bitwig due to their modular approach. It allows for many cool things without the need of an external plugin, like a haaze effect, or your mono split at 200 Hz. Really cool!Anatolio wrote: Thu Sep 07, 2023 12:00 pm Thank you, very simple and convenient! Thank you so much. now there is no need to use heavy third-party plugins

Yes, I am delighted with the capabilities of the bitvig modules. God, how convenient it is!!! For example, I did mono on a base below 200 Hz either in TR5 QuadDamage or in bx_digital V2, but here it's just two clicks to meet the capabilities and immediately there is no need for external modules. I hope to switch to the built-in Bitwig modules in many tasks, but unfortunately I'm not good at them yet. And I don't touch the grid at all and I'm not going to. The disadvantage in Bitwig is that its synthesizer capabilities are so-so (I haven't heard anything fashionable), but the very idea of modules is something worth working for only in Bitwig!muzicxs wrote: Thu Sep 07, 2023 1:05 pmYou're welcome! I use the Bitwig synths a lot, and they're just as capable as other synths IMHO. You can use some subtle modulation with a random modulator on pitch for example, to create more of an analog vibe. You can also make big fat sounds with voice stacking. All in all the Bitwig synths offer infinite possibilities and tweakability.Anatolio wrote: Thu Sep 07, 2023 2:34 pm The disadvantage in Bitwig is that its synthesizer capabilities are so-so (I haven't heard anything fashionable), but the very idea of modules is something worth working for only in Bitwig!
