Be Quiet! Pure Base 600 a real find for DAW computers

Case Builder Beware
While the steel's rigidity is of very good quality, the plastic used has a lacking. It's somewhat prone to scratches and you will have to have some blankets or something soft around to prevent scratching up your new investment.

Something I find helps to get rid of the scratches is to use Armor All Tire Shine spray. I use a sponge, and then evenly apply a thick coating on, going with the grain of the textured plastic. Next; use a microfiber cloth to carefully polish the excess. The tire shine seems to melt plastic a little; making the scratches seem much less evident. In regards to quality plastic used on towers; no manufacturer can match Antec, but they are among the louder cases more often than not. You might be able to defeat that by getting rubber gaskets [120mm ($0.61 CAD [$1.85 CAD Shipping]) ] / [140mm ($1.62 CAD [$1.85 CAD Shipping]) ] for under your fans; the steel used in Antec towers likely resonates (something to be said by using slightly malleable steel).

Making it even cooler

There are a few challenges while using the pure base 600; there is fan depth and exhaust, intake to consider. If you were to consider performance (especially in realtime), you would probably consider AIO coolers. Here is my idling temperatures using only fans:

if you are using a DAW all the time; idling will affect you more than anything.
I've put together this list of 240/280 mm coolers because of the fact that you should have another 120mm fan expelling heat from your tower, more on that later in the article.

It is really important that you consider the tier of AIO cooler depending on the voltage sent to your CPU, you could overheat!

Thoughts regarding AIO Coolers
To sum it up, if you were to go with a surefire solution; based upon all data, I would probably go with the H100i, or the Captain 240 if I had a processor that got hotter. I think frankly, the claims of customers regarding the Magic Scenic is a bit alarming.

The best feedback that I have read and viewed overall for an AIO cooler has been with the h100i's, but with the age, and the wattage of my CPU; I think it would not be an unwise move to go with a Cougar Poseidon 240. The fact that they have such an extended warranty is really great news.

Making it all fit
But alas, this brings us to our next challenge; making it all fit. With a style of tower like the Be Quiet! Pure Base 600 is, I've watched video reviews of it that were complimenting except when it came to one thing; the clearance above the motherboard.
This tells me that likely, no matter which AIO you choose, you would likely want to replace the included fans with slim 120mm / 140mm PWM fans. In fact, I would probably use slim Arctic p12 PWM fans everywhere, but the Jonsbo ARGB fans don't seem so bad, just more expensive. In both cases, despite that they have less depth; their ability to send air out; and at a reasonable volume is a price point. It also helps a great deal that the Arctic fans are economical.

You would likely need to buy two packs of these fans so as to be able to replace all of the AIO Cooler fans. However, the challenge of making these fans work would be your ability to find a Kraken G12 compatible AIO, with the Asetek style fitting. I am not sure that a one fan radiator would be adequate, and keep in mind that some of the newer NZXT Kraken models are not at all compatible with the Kraken G12 AIO GPU Mount. It's rather surprising how many GPU models are compatible with the Kraken G12, and if you wanted to go this route, you should definitely look that up on youtube

Cooling down the GPU
The best option, other than AIO's I have found; is to get yourself a two-fan aluminum fan radiator, like one which you can purchase quite cheaply at AliExpress. Below is the model that I purchased which should help to keep my GPU cooler than it currently is. Though my temperatures seem ideal; often people dismiss that VST's using images such as PNG's or image strips and so on; can actually be far more taxing on the GPU memory than vector 2D/3D nurbs and poly's.

Cooling down the OS boot SSD
It might be overkill to cool every SSD in your tower, but from AliExpress I was able to find these SSD coolers which seem like they would be more than capable of cooling your OS's SSD, ensuring peak performance.

Making up for the lack of intake due to AIO radiators
The biggest issue with Radiators is the fact that though they do allow air through to a degree; they heat the air upon entry; and air being drawn into the tower should not be hot; otherwise temperatures of internal components will be less affected by fan and AIO cooling, defeating the purpose.

The best solution I could come up with was this Evercool Two 5.25 CD Bay high hard drive cooler. Now, I'm not suggesting you use it for hard drives; TBH, I think harddrives are the worst idea; and they will slow your processor down a great deal; however this addition can serve as either an intake or exhaust. Please keep in mind; that though a great addition, it's said that the included fan is not very good.

Making up for the lack of Exhaust due to AIO radiators
The one thing that becomes apparent when working with the Be Quiet! Pure Base 600 is that the top cover can be removed. And I can say that once you have removed it; the temperature goes down drastically. However, that is while using fans, it's arguable that when employing an AIO; that your heat levels inside the tower would again rise.

I would recommend leaving the nice looking sound deadening lid off; and maybe find a magnetic dust filter that fit the recessed space perfectly, which likely would reduce the sound a bit.

Should you wish to leave the top on, it has the option of raising it, and I guess that is the best of both worlds; for it is lined with sound deadening materials. Perhaps both the top on; set to the second rungs of elevation with a magnetic dust filter underneath is better still.

Might be cool to have one for audio, and one for video processing / games. I would avoid quad channel, because of speed penalties and would have two large sticks. Maybe an arc75 would be cool too; need to read up on them.
