I will say though, getting a new computer is not fun! I don’t do this often and I hope to not need to for more than another 5 years.

Argued a dumb argument on the forum today. Does that count for anything?

Found a fun trick using a Befaco Muxlicer as a CV sequencer by driving its clock from a euclidean triggers rhythm from Pam’s Pro get some interesting gate patterns with the same sequence sometimes playing quicker or slower or sometimes kicks out rests.

they work on the ouch circuit, giving it different flavours of "noise" distortion/fuzz/so on...
pretty cool, you get two slots, 4 cards.
but the cards work different, depending which way round you put them in!!
you can get more cards and even have two kittys for example, and i believe, some of the modules he does use them too.

Demo'd Entonal Studio, realized I had to buy it and felt like a chump for sticking with Bitwig Micro-Pitch for so long. Got it working (monophonically) with non-MPE stuff like Harmonia and (more importantly) Univer Inter.
And then I had a session where I cranked Odessa's tension knob to make it inharmonic, and also stretched the octave in ES to compensate so it was still consonant. Neato, the premise of Tuning, Timbre, Spectrum, Scale has applications in my own music after all.
Updated Spectraphon firmware and have been playing with that.
Also, tacos. But not too close to the gear.

Made a minimal rack mini rig to jam on. Had fun with the Steppy and may have a kernel of a track.

Have started using my TR-8S a fair bit recently after getting close to selling it at one point and Roland added some nice features in a new firmware update, authentic CR78 sounds and preset patterns plus an 808 bass with stepped pitch. Been playing with that tonight and have to say it’s a very fine sounding machine when you hit on the right combination of drums. On the downside it still annoys me I’m limited to 400 user samples at most when the 32GB SD card it takes could fit on nearly all the Samples From Mars drum libraries. Adding samples is a chore as it sometimes rejects samples for no obvious reason and having to delete samples one at a time is fricking painful.

Still mixing the tunes from April-Sep.
I may have a full CD of keepers mixed, but there are some tunes left.
Its a good feeling when you hear them all back and its your best CD yet.
A lot of years and hard work have gone into all this momentum.

Exactly. The set included with Elmyra 2 is the aptly named "Pets" set (Kitty, Doggy, Birdy, Bunny) and there is also the separately available "Nuts" set (Acorn, Cashew, Pecan, Almond), which was introduced with the Scrat VCF module. Then there's also the Nijel distortion which takes the same cards. All cards work with any of the modules/synths.you can get more cards and even have two kittys for example, and i believe, some of the modules he does use them too.
You could also make your own cards on small pieces of stripboard, I know of quite a few users who have done that.
@vurt Love your Elmyra sessions, btw. Great stuff.
