'Megadrive Chip Synths' for Plogue ChipSynth MD

'Megadrive Chip Synths' contains 110 presets for Plogue ChipSynthMD. I owned a Genesis game system as a child and this synth brought back so many memories! These patches faithfully retain the Megadrive's distinct character, yet are all original and legal to use. As a bonus, we've also included a pack of 17 FM drum and FX samples in WAV format, which were created using ChipSynthMD.

While the Megadrive/Genesis had the ability to use samples, synthesizing drums within the soundchip itself played a major role in Megadrive chipmusic. For more drums like these, we have a free sample pack called "FM Drums", which can be downloaded from the "Free Soundbanks" page on the Xenos Soundworks website.

A sample library spanning all manner of Chipmusic drums, percussion and sound effects. Covers mainly C64, NES, SNES and Megadrive/Genesis type sounds plus lo-fi "real world" drum/FX samples. All are original and royalty-free. ETA? Whenever I can get it done lol.

FM8 soundset with a dystopian theme.
Digital FM sounds geared toward Cyberpunk and Cinematic productions. Again, ETA is whenever it gets finished.

Cinematic ARP2600V soundset.
A mix of retrowave sounds and moody abstract soundscapes.

Dune 3 techno/dance soundset.
Can't believe I ignored this synth for so many years. It's an absolute BEAST! . Gonna be some time before this one is finished, but it's definitely in progress.
