Maybe you could try with Submarine by Waves? I'm suggesting this only because it tracks pitch (afaik) and I don't know any other subharmonic plugin doing that (by the way I'd like to know any alternative, even if I rarely need this kind of plugins).

Other options could be LoAir (also by Waves) or BassMint by Unfiltered Audio / PA, although I guess the task requires something as advanced as Submarine...

By the way, don't discount the idea of adding in parallel a copy of the track heavily filtered down and then pitchshited by 1 octave (and then filtered again, if needed). Maybe also use some dynamic processors (probably before the initial filtering?) if you want certain parts to contribute more / you want to remove some parts (I'd probably play around with transient designers and gate to try to "condition" the signal before pitching it down, so it contains mostly what I want). You could also use a stem separator (there's something in RX, Spectralayers and the like, afaik) to extract just the bass instruments (kick, bass, toms...) and then filter and pitch them down only them (or use a subharmonic plugin just on those tracks, for a cleaner result). And then add the subharmonic content (or the pitched down signal) in parallel to the original track...
It's cumbersome compared to just inserting a plugin, but worth a try in my opinion (the worst possible outcome is you don't like the result...)

My 2 cents of course.

Are you referring to Uninteresting Audio's Nevermind ? it is very good indeed

Another option is the newly released Airwindows SubTight along with PA-Subfilter (haven't tried SubSynth, tho)

@Caine123: Do you have access to the multitrack sessions? If yes, you could remove the aggressive high-pass filtering. No?

yes but sadly there are 3 elements which are so random ( and i sadly did mix it wrong the low end some years ago....) that after 50 exports of those none is coming close. i just either accept a new version or try to spice up the old WAV file a bit :D hard lessons learned i hope....

Can you not demo Submarine and find out if it works with your material?

Personally I would start with airwindows Floor +/- the new SubTight and see where that goes. Also maybe worth a demo would be refuse's Lowender, although it's more pricey than most, still might be the right tool for your job https://www.refusesoftware.com/faq/11

I recommended Plugin Alliance's bx_subsynth, but then noticed that the OP already ruled that one out, so I rather deleted my post...

Submarine and MaxxBass for me. I have pushed them to far at times and my car was not super happy. But I was. :)

I love Nomad Factory Cosmos. I love the fact that you can tune the sub bass to a specific frequency.

$20 seems a fair price (or free) for a sub generator (basically a sine wave) but $70? I dunno, maybe my age is showing but perhaps money is no object for youngens today!

Hey man this is totally unrelated but I can’t figure out how to PM on here. Do you still have your old Nebula Cab libraries? Damyfx, OH, Kathallen, all have been totally wiped off the internet and i’m trying to upgrade from shitty static IRs. Thanks in advance.
