Hello,
Has anyone tried MUZE instruments? There seems to be an insane deal going on. (On APD)
MUZE Everything - pianos, strings, brass, pads, bass, drums, effects, etc
Wanted to know if anyone here has tried any of their stuff? Not much to find out about them on the internet. Not many Youtube videos either. Wondering what's the deal? Is it too good to be true?
I don't wanna spend $79 on it only to find some catch later!
Please share your experience with instruments (if you have any)

A quick glance here https://rekkerd.org/tag/muze/ and you'll see Muze products are often available at huge discounts. Probably not bad value for money, but the "regular" price of its products is surely inflated.
Rekkerd.org the latest news on audio plugins, sample libraries & virtual instruments, synth presets & more.

There's some fairly reasoned discussion of Muze and their libraries in this VI-C thread from last year:

Better avoid. Many gigabytes of material that will not make you happy. Better get Labs and libraries for Decent Sampler for free if you are on a tight budget. Many quality libraries there.

Now I know what you mean by those different names. Thanks.HAL76 wrote: Mon Sep 11, 2023 10:50 am Quality is subjective.
Sonex = Qataz = Muze
You can expect ridiculously low prices and in so far won´t do wrong.

I'm just going through the whole set, after buying the "everything" deal (46 Kontakt libraries for a ridiculously low price). So far played through the first 5.
My impression of Muze is that this is someone independently wealthy who does Kontakt libraries as a labor of love. Someone who could afford a computer with a jillion Gigs of RAM back in 2020. Who can also afford to prectically give the libraries away. Yeah, I could imagine that they actually plunked down the big bucks to have a real Steinway Grand, etc. recorded.
The sounds? I am finding some good ones. I really like the Dione piano for one, I'm belnding it with my Ableton Studio's own grand multisample to give the latter some much needed edge. In Aquamarine, my facorite patch is #7, Caribbean. And on. There's definitely some neat stuff in here, and I'm using this on a ten year old laptop with just 8 Gigs of RAM and an ancient 32-bit Ableton. So far nothing blew up.
If it came to it, I'd have paid the Everything Deal's price just for that snazzy Dione piano alone, so it's like, whatever else I discover from now on in the other 40+ sets will be just extra cream on top. That's my 2 cents.
