hi guys,

RX is a great tool, im no fan of izotope's release philosophy and how they handle their updates but im checking the PHASE CORRECTION tool and i think i never found a song i tested so far (also commercial songs!) which had no phase problems (RX states it ;)) so im wondering if this is kinda not needed or recommendable?
i checked the songs also in FULL MONO and didnt hear and phase issues. so i guess then this phase correction isnt needed?

thx

Phase rotation is not a "correction", because a waveform of many sounds is naturally asymmetrical. The goal of RX's phase rotation is to minimize peak levels. It is a popular tool in speech broadcasting, but not really popular with music.

Good reference regarding why it is useful for broadcast & spoken word.
