I can't find any other creative bundle for such a great price, and for god sake - Hi Dpi supported. Arturia did a great job, if not the best. What do you think?

I think they really screwed their 3 Preamps with autogain compensation that can't be turned off. What a stupid design choice.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

HUH???
They all have a clean output-gain control, so what on earth are you on about?
(Talking about stupidity of all things...)

Good bundle. I also have my favourites, but got it to have all vintage effects bases covered. And it does that quite good. For producers just starting out, this is ideal. And considering you get V3 for 60 ... 80 bucks second hand, it's a steal.

The preamp plugins are gain compensated. No matter how much you turn the gain up on them, the output volume doesn't change. That's not how a real preamp works.jens wrote: Tue Sep 12, 2023 9:53 amjamcat wrote: Tue Sep 12, 2023 9:40 am I think they really screwed their 3 Preamps with autogain compensation that can't be turned off. I want it too. Will grab it next time it's on sale.Aidenstunes wrote: Tue Sep 12, 2023 8:34 am I can't find any other creative bundle for such a great price, and for god sake - Hi Dpi supported. Arturia did a great job, if not the best. What do you think?

Sort of wish they'd do a rack version (Guitar rig, Mixbox, VMR etc.) or something. Would make doing stuff like A/Bing different algorithms and saving chains much more convenient.

It’s a fantastic bundle, incredible bang for bucks when on sale or if you own any other Arturia product. I skipped the v4 update, though, having bought Coldfire when it came out and getting the MS-20 filter for free.

To be honest I find that most of it is already covered if you have other bundles like NI Komplete and/or IK stuff. So while I have V3, I can't say I use much of it. Fragments is cool, but Dawsome Love stole it's thunder a bit. The newer stuff like the new reverb seem pretty cpu intensive when there are great alternatives. Debating whether or not to keep it.

It's not a necessary collection, and not what I'd consider "the best", but there are gems included. My favs are Fragments, LX-24, DIST Coldfire, and the modulation effects (off the top of my head). I'd use it a LOT more if it wasn't so slow to get these loaded in Windows and they were generally just more efficient.

Fabfilter plugins are a different package of sweets.
