New version adds PAN to each OSC, LFO retrigger. Fix some banks issues, and adds a note sustain mode for testing sound design. Personally I like to have a small phrase on loop and tune the sounds towards what I want.

You'll probably have to make a version without Snap Heap though, because that's a commercial plugin.

I did get the notification email about this new version and there was a link to give feedback and half the posts were suggesting similar to this. I am going to hold off downloading and updating it in case it has become infected.

Hello I am the developper of 2RuleSynth. I don't know why it has this virus alert. I created the installer of the pluging using the Inno Setup Compiler regarding to the suggestion of Juce Framework. So I trust to them.
But in the gumroad site I uploaded a windows vst3 format of 2RuleSynth (without an installer exe) .
You can download "2RuleSynthV-3-2_for_windows.vst3" and "Foctory.json" files.

I'm having quite a bit of trouble creating suitable drums

Consider how a drum physically works, as well as the body of the drums themselves. Drums have heads that are struck with a hand or stick (quality number one: the transient), and in doing so, come down in pitch and tension (quality number two: the strike) before relaxing to the tune and body of whatever the drums is supposed to be (quality number three: the body).

Remember that you can, and should, use your DAW's internal modulation utilities:

Kick: Low sine wave with an envelope on the volume; a second, shorter envelope on the pitch; and an even shorter third envelope on the second envelope's amount. A saturated noise layer can help it cut through the mix if desired, but optional if the kick is intended to be subtle.

Snare: Rounded-square/soft-clipped-sine/both, layered with some stereo noise [the "snares" underneath the drum, with their own envelope assigned to enter immediately after the transient, and is therefore best done in its own layer]; the first layered envelope on the volume; a second, shorter envelope on the pitch; and a third envelope on the second envelope's amount. EQ will further help to define the body of the snare, differentiating it from an element like a hihat or crash.

Cymbals: The easiest of the three, since they don't have bodies: they are just noise with varying amounts of high-passing, decay, and tone, depending on the specific cymbal - for example, you may want to emphasize a particular frequency using EQ and/or a resonator (this synth has a comb filter, wink wink) if designing a ride.

I didn't have to type any of this, but do with it what you will.

Thanks Tuğrul, good to see the developers of the synths we use I here. I will have a look at downloading the files that way.
I hope you can answer a question as I have not been able to work out if it is possible to map parameters to modulate others? I am thinking not given you made separate ASDRs for each filter and LFOs too.

I have updated my track. I had too much of the detuned microtones lurking, so changed the lead instrument and also played around with some extra percussion elements. LUFS now -15.3 and DR 12.

Nice catch! For some reason I thought it was free with kHs plugin bundle, I used it only as a sidechain shape for the bass, exact same thing can be achieved with STFU.
I don't want to reupload my track so hopefully people will forgive me, otherwise I'm fine with DQ.
