For those of us who want only the new sounds and have ST2XL, and SS1, how much is it again just for the sounds?

I thank and salute Squids, all the other Sonic Reality folks, and the UPS delivery driver who, at 7:00 pm, was still out on the road bringing toys full of funk to good girls, boys, and... erm... this skunk.
*saaaa-LUTE!*
Now it's time to feed some discs into my music box... :-) while I debug my own software on my mate's machine. :-( Ah well, I ought to have a chance to play SOMEtime tonight.

You're naming it? It has a name. Sonik Synth 2!
But, naming your PATCHES is a whole other story. You can personalize your Sonik Synth 2 and REALLY make it your own special lady.
Speaking of special ladies, where's Fitch been? (for those that know her)
Btw, Mighty one, there is no sounds-only version of SS2. But, there's an upgrade for all SS1 owners and/or crossgrade for all ST2 owners. That price is $199. but that price is a limited time thing. It may go up a little in a month or so. As an upgrade from SS1 it is only available here: www.esoundz.com As a crossgrade from ST2 it may be available from various dealers at some point if they bring it in stock heavily (which they should since I think every ST2 user should get it JUST for the sounds... since there are over 5,800 of them and it is 8.5gigs of different material to add to their ST2 set up).

Done ... installed ... registered ... working !!!
As I've only tasted a very few sounds and only scratched the surface ... two words come to mind.
HOLY SHIT!
I fear I'll be unreachable for quite awhile. Squids, I loved the C7 piano in SS1 but you've quite outdone yourself! The Rhodes Pianos ... ditto! Pinch me quick I think I've died and gone to heaven! Okay I'll shutup! BTW Squids, check your PM's when you get a chance, thanks!

Very good question. Claire you there?Squids wrote: Speaking of special ladies, where's Fitch been? (for those that know her)
Man I had better figure something out quick then. How much are you thinking it will rise? Maybe 50$ or so? BTW I had read that price, I was thinking for some reason we could get just the sounds cheaper without the manual and the fancy boxes etc, but I guess I didn't read that anywhereSquids wrote:Btw, Mighty one, there is no sounds-only version of SS2. Mighty, you own SS1 right? SS2 is normally $399. So, as an upgrade from SS1 at $199 it IS cheaper. It will go up next year by about that. But, still that's cheap for what it is. Remember that it is 4 times the size of SS1.

Of course I do
I know it's cheaper, I meant cheaper than the 199$ upgrade price.
All the other stuff I realize as well
I am going to try and buy asap so I don't have to pay additional money.

I haven't had a chance to recover my finances yet to even grab Amplitube LE from you yet, but SS 2 is definately on my list for early 2005 along with Studiophonic..
I love the sounds on the SS2 free instrument..very nice indeed..
