What makes Tube Modulator special over all the competitors? I ask because I can usually get it relative inexpensively but don’t want more “me too” plugins when I have so many.

I’m currently in love with Strymon’s Deco. It’s meant to be a doubling tape delay, but you can turn the delay line off and it’s just rich saturation goodness.

It's much more expensive, but I've very recently discovered that Korneff Echoleffe can do all that and more (but not as simply as there's just more features and UI).

Korneff Pawnshop Comp 2 just replaced Kush Novatron for me. And the Talkback Limiter is useful to whack some things into place (e.g., hats).

Here's an odd one... Valhalla Delay. Turn the delay, feedback and mod depth to zero, then select a Mode and start cranking up the Drive and Age.

Not yet - ended up acquiring/being gifted/updating a few other things, like the pair of Korneff plugins I mentioned above.

Pretty sure my $19 Tube Modulator price is regardless of sales, so it's on my list to check out for sure (I have several other Audiority plugins).

That makes even less sense lol. I guess when he means production he thinks of more prominent saturation for sound design etc. and with mixing he means subtle saturation

What's your 'go to' distortion/saturation plugins?
