Is there anyway to get an Emulator X3 now that they're no longer sold? I read that a Creative Response Code is necessary so only people that purchased it before can use it.

I activated Emulator X3 several times on different computers. No response code was required. All that was needed was a product key.

What you are asking for is ILLEGAL and is not allowed on this forum. I'm surprised the mods haven't already warned you. EMU X3 is NOT freeware. It is ABANDONWARE. Tho it can not be purchased any longer it is not legal to download and use it unless you previously purchased it.
That being said, if you don't care about following the rules......there's this thing called Google.....maybe you've heard of it.Downloading abandonware is illegal. This is because, more often than not, abandonware is still under copyright. As such, downloading it without permission is technically illegal — even though the owner has abandoned the software.

You can't if you don't have a license and didn't save the unlock email. Using cap locks won't change that.

It appears even if you have a licence you can't install it. From the installation notes it says
"2. Type in carefully the serial number using the following format. Choose activate “Online” if you are currently connected to Internet.
or by “Email” send your Request Code as shown in the example below if you wish to receive your Response Code from E-MU Technical Support to activate the software."

I doubt it. Because lawyers.IvyBirds wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 9:44 pm This would be so simple for a company like Arturia to licence from Creative

Why would Lawyers object to Creative the company who owns the ashes of E-MU making money by licensing it to Arturia?whyterabbyt wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 9:35 amI doubt it. Creative owns the X3 software they can legally sell it or license it to anyone they want, along with all of E-MU's IP including the sample libraries

I think the IP for the sample libraries is now owned by Digital Sound Factory, I may be wrong though.IvyBirds wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 9:44 pm

My guess is that there isn't much will either way. Arturia already have their EII and Falcon have Emulation+ ..the libraries they don't include, the Emax, E4, Vintage Keyboards and the various proteus modules are available legally from DSF in various formats.
That sort of leaves X3 itself which I would think has a minority interest.
But what would I know?

It isn’t included with Falcon, but you can buy this separately and works with the free UVI Workstation.
