I'm getting up and running with Hydra, but I can't figure out how to use the key switches on my 76-key keyboard for sustain, power chords, mute, etc...They are mapped down to octave 0 and transposing doesn't do anything. Are the key switches used just when editing in the PRV, not live?
I was wondering if I could use a small keyboard, like an Alesis V25, to control key switches, alongside my large keyboard. If so, I might just do that anyway for convenience. Anyone know if that'd work?

Indeed many people will use a smaller keyboard that's transposed down just to trigger keyswitches. You could also use a small pad controller that sends note events for the same purpose.

If you set your keyboard to do the transposing, it should work. Maybe you need to go 2 octaves down, not just one.
