Hey! whats, in your opinion, the cleanest pitchshifter/formant shifter plugin? I have elastique pitch, devious machines pitchmonster, and the obligatory littlealterboy. looking for something to cleanly shift vocals/make them sound more feminine. any recs?

Another one is probably MTransformer, set on pretty high buffer sizes (from the "spectral settings").

I mostly use a stock plugin (REAPER's "ReaPitch") for static pitch/formant shifting tasks, though.

Off line or real-time? Real-time stuff will never be great, offline will always be better.
With that in mind, Ircam TS and Melodyne are the best offline (for me) - and no real-time pitch shifter is universally 'great', some are suited to some things (like autotune to vocals, or at least monophonic instruments) and you are probably better off using simple frequency shifting to re-pitch drums. No good real-time polyphonic pitch shifter exists because we don't have the maths or computing power to do it well enough yet.
Ircam flux is pretty good for a real-time shifter, as martiu states, but quite quickly will become artefact-ey at extreme settings.
You want excellent pitch-shiting? Forget real-time processing.
