What are the specific differences between this and the full Mtron Pro? THe website only says it has "limited editing options". What are they?
Thanks

What do you mean Select? I can't find it on their website. Can you provide a link?

Literally first result when googling "m tron select"

Yes, first result for me too. Bit of a contradiction isn't it, full version with limited editing options.

Well that depends on what they mean by limited. Not really sure what you can limit given what it's emulating!

If you follow that Google link to the GForce page, then click on the Hainbach artist pack link on that page, it takes you here:

So no tape stuff, lfo, filter, and no amp envelope except at a very basic level?

And it has the 'most iconic' tron sounds. I can guess at flute, strings, voice, brass? I mean ok.

TBH I have the TAL Sampler and the Retro Finisher plug in. I can probably manage from there with what's included in the TAL package as well as stuff off the interwebs. I have fx and the Arturia Tape LOFI melltron emulation.

I have it and it sounds nice, but I usually use Sampletron 2.

50 presets are included. Each preset can have two sounds, (e.g. violins and choir, etc.) but you can't switch out those two, they are hardwired into the presets.

Ok thanks, I don't think i'll bother with the select version. I don't desperately need a tron right now
