If I may ask, how does Soniformer fit into the mastering picture. I don't fully understand what it does and have not found the time to demo, so any information appreciated.

I think Soniformer may be a great compressor (set just a bit below peak levels) before limiter, to tame resonances and reduce headroom in frequency-dependent manner so that limiter sounds even more transparent.

was just curious, as some of the competitors have multiband either fully configurable by the user, or embedded automatically in some of their algorithms

What are you specifically recommending for lower TransTime values for more open sounding and less loud electronic music with EL-5?
My ears want to go down to 30-40, but i'm afraid i'm adding too much distortion that i don't pick up on my lower-end monitoring. When you say 'slightly lower', what ranges are we speaking?
