Or how about when an app crashes? You think it's a bug? Apps know when it's time for you to hang up the gloves and take up knitting.

cultivate your own smaller, perhaps more exclusive community, with people you like. and don't invite the toxic people who make you feel bad about yourself. throw enough internet randos together with no screening process into a public forum or channel, and there are eventually going to be some heads butting, fevered egos, etc.
case in point: this thread, with people calling you a troll, a schizo, a bot etc.... this amount of this kind of constant, toxic noise generally seems directly proportional to the user count of a site.
