The riffs are strong and memorable. It held my attention all the way through and I'm not really into heavy guitars.

I think the synth at 2:20 came in too loud and was distracting. Other than that the mix was very good.

Very nice work! :tu:

Thank you for the great feedback. I took your advice and made a few tweaks to the track which I hope improve the sound of it.

LOVE the drums, got s solid kick that I swear I felt in my chest through the headphones! Had me banging my head from the start, GREAT opening. Clear, crunchy grinding guitar. If it weren't 5:30am and I didn't want to get evicted, I'd have blasted this until the walls melted.

I think I like it! Quite well done, this coming from a very aging metalhead. :hihi: :hihi:

Before I had seen your comment here at KVR, I was wondering if I should re-render the track again. When I listened to the track today with my tablet, the volume was so loud, I was concerned about hearing loss. I'm not exactly sure what boosted the output gain so high when I re-rendered the track to SoundCloud last night; I don't recall ever having a track mix down that loud without utterly ruining it.

Thank you for that generous endorsement! I would never have imagined that an audio mixdown malfunction would be the mechanism to bestow my rock track with some needed je ne sais quoi.

Happy accidents are wonderful, though unpredictable! I will note that not all tracks benefit from the 'It goes to 11' treatment, but this banger NEEDED, imho, that over-the-top push.

May your tracks rock and your fans be many!

Great riffs. Especially fond of the part at 2:06 when the open hats come in!

Indeed. I'm not sure if I could intentionally replicate what occurred if I tried.

You're right. While not every track would benefit from that kind of hyper-driven saturation, I'm curious though how some of my previous rock tracks would sound with it -- especially the drums and guitar parts.

Thank you, and I wish the same to you, as well!

Beautiful guitar riffs - powerful groove. A nice instrumental.

The synth at around 2:00 suddenly brings in a surprise. The synth
vocals at 3:11 bring in a new element.

Well done! :tu:

D Phrygian flat 4 lended itself nicely to some rather effective guitar melodies.

The synth sounds are from UVI Synth Anthology 4 (a recent pickup), and the synthesized vox are the voice talent of Emvoice Thomas.

I like the guitars, and the drums, well mixed and mastered, sounds well balanced, good work!

I'm a metal guitar guy - only doing electronic music for a few years. I love this. I'm going to be stealing some of your orchestration - the ways you combine electronic and heavy guitar elements. The kick is awesome and the main riff is great. The spooky solo is awesome!!!

Compositionally - I actually think you should bring the synth vocals in earlier. The way it is now is like bringing a new character into a book on chapter 15. It's a great element - milk it a little more. That might offset the number of time the main riff is the lead element.

Please do and send me a PM when you release something; I would really like to hear what you come up with.

Thank you for the songwriting advice. As with other tracks of mine, like Stylin', Running Up That Bill, The Divided States of America, and Magic Turd Polish, it has been sort of a gimmick of mine to add synthetic vocals to the last chorus of a song, to add a new element of interest as a reward for the listeners who have stuck it out to listen through to the end. The inspiration for the gimmick came to me after I saw the from artist Mari Dangerfield. I think I understand what you are getting at, though. These days, with music streaming, I run the risk that many listeners will have already skipped to the next song before they have listened to the last chorus in the track.
