Sounds pretty good imo
FL Studio 25 | AudioThing JULY - Deimos - U-he Filterscape - NI Kontour - Softube Model 80 - LUSH-2 - UAD Opal - WaveOSC

Very decent and moderate on a laptop cpu. However, I think it would be nice for at to have dual axis wavetables (like in Hive) and ring modulation.

Tried a few presets and was a bit meh, but once I started twiddling I made a decent bass in minutes, so a thumbs up from me.

Sounds pretty good, I love how it has a real preset system instead of one of those that you have to click on the gui to get to the presets.

If anybody would like to submit more presets, that would be great.

I need to write a manual or something but here is a run down on the modulation system that may be non obvious:

* Double circles are per voice modulation sources.
* Single circles are global modulation sources.
* If you assign a per voice mod source to a global parameter, it will use the oldest voice.
* You can assign by dragging a mod source to a knob, modulation will be applied at full strength.
* You can click a mod source, and while it's active, any knob you touch will have modulation applied. Hold shift to adjust knob value. Click mod source again to disable assign mode.
* When modulation is assigned, a dot appears next to knob. Click and drag to adjust mod depth. (This will only affect the first mod assigned to the knob) Right click to un-assign.
* You can also adjust depth and un-assign from mod matrix.

Serum format Wavetables are supported. Drag & drop them onto the Wavetable graphic.

Everything else should be straight forward.

I need a good demo song / patch demo. Does anybody know where I can find somebody who specializes in that?

Can oscillators be used as mod sources?

No. Just the LFOs, envelopes, MPE and MIDI CCs.

Got it! Will it be possible to implement Ring Modulation and/or dual-axis wavetables (like Hive) in a future update?

I'm not sure. For ring mod I think you need to oversample the oscillators or else you get aliasing. I'll see what that does to cpu usage. I haven't used Hive so not sure how dual axis wavetables work. Both will need research.

I made the mistake of choosing "80s Dirty Lead" first and for some reason it destroys this system with a few notes. To be fair it's just my old i5 internet/test system but it will usually handle most plugins if not pushed too hard.

"Unistep" is another one that brings it to its knees with just a few notes along with "Concaus". Other presets are quite reasonable.

Not sure what it is about those presets. I'll have a look further tomorrow.

Anyway thanks for the free synth. :tu:

I've put 0 effort into optimization so far, so I'd be interested to know what type of CPU usage people are seeing. It's fine on my machine, but it's a pretty high end Apple M1. Is anybody else struggling, or is it something specific about your DAW / system maybe?
