I use two pairs

DT 1770 Pro: Really wanted the 1990's but the reality is that when I'm using headphones it's because I need to block out ambient noise to some extent. Otherwise I just use my active studio monitors. DT 1990 are great, but it's like strapping a pair of speakers to your head, barely any isolation. I tried the DT 770's but found them disappointing. The 1770's with velour pads are still reasonably open sounding while providing some isolation, and the frequency response is fairly similar to open-backed beyers.

Etymotic ER4XR IEMs: They were real life savers during the pandemic when both I and the spouse stayed home all day in a small 58 sq m./624 sq ft apartment. Once you get them to fit right they basically shut you off from the world. I don't use them as much these days but they're really handy when you want a very intimate sound to really hear all the details, or when you're working in a noisy environment.
Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care

Hifiman HE-X4.....Love Hifiman headphones. Planar for life 4 real. Planar headphones just sound so good to me.

Check out oratory1990 and AutoEq.
And any headphone can become useful once you're used to how they sound - just like speakers.

I've been using these for years:

Betron Retro's. I think they cost me £17.99. They're one of those 'they're so cheap I'm going to have to mark them down a bit because I can't bear to think they're actually as good as/better than my $500 whatever's..' lol. They sound as good as phones I've had that cost more than 10 x's the price. They're solidly built and have lasted about 6 years so far with no problems at all. I use them with Jeroen Breebaart's old Isone Pro plugin on the master in Reaper for when I need to use phones or do some checking.

I have JBLs that are falling apart but I love them. I will check a mix with noise canceling Soundcore (another oldie) because there's too much ambient noise. Ceiling fan, AC, freezer.

Please, can you tell me in which order do you insert them ? running one into the other is not that clear for a non english native as I am.

I have a nice pair of high impedance AKG k240s I’ve had since the 80s, they still make the model, but the new ones aren’t the same. And I have a set of audio technica m50s for closed back duties.

That would be understood as

CanOpener is inserted first, TB Morphit after that. ie the signal passes into CanOpener, then the output from that goes into TB Morphit...

Old Sennheiser HD 430’s. If I need to hear the tiniest pop or click or any other issue, they will tell me.

Superlux HD 681 EVO. I use them from end-to-end in production, monitoring, mixing, mastering. Best US$30 I've ever spent on hardware. Very flat and clear response with maybe just the tiniest bit of mud on the bottom end. Certainly not noticeable unless I crank the volume. Beats my old, crappy AT cans hands down. But then, I think AT can only make crappy products.
I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better? :(

I had CanOpener first, then TB Morphit. Not sure if it really makes any difference though.. but my logic was that if there is slight frequency response changes in CanOpener, then it would be smart to have TB Morphit last as it's the final EQ correction for the actual headphones.

I have some Audeze LCD-x's from previously using DT 770 Pro. I suspect that when I try the DT770's again after getting used to the LCD-x, there will be barely any meaningful difference, certainly not £900 worth!

I find Morphit gives a better sound. But I fear that it is not the intended purpose. I mean, I have a nice and very present sound in my Audiotechnica M50X, but the Yamaha MSP5 monitors give a thin poor sound.
I don't find any good difference in my mix.

Audeze LCD-X.
Really changed my mixing process for the better.
My mixes come out so ridiculously good on other speakers, headphones and monitoring setups.
