Audio Assault - future of ReAmp Studio

I'm just asking if anyone knows, I own Re-Amp studio but that's disappeared from the Audio Assault website. they have a new 'flagship' guitar thing called Amp Locker, which comes with a few free bits, then you buy more bits as you go.
They said they're going to incorporate the older Re-Amp studio (which was their previous 'collected' guitar thing) into Amp Locker, but does anyone know how that might work?
Also I don't quite understand, as I installed Amp Locker, which is supposed to run with free stuff, but appears to be a demo you have to unlock or something.

Amp Locker is a hub type plugin, you need to buy serial numbers for specific components to unlock them. One component, the vintage style amp, is free. I don't remember offhand if you need to enter a serial for that one or if it's unlocked by default. Everything else - extra pedals, extra cabs, extra amps, ... - you will need to buy. They just released a pedal pack for Amp Locker for $8: Big muff, Tube screamer and OCD.

A bit late here. I originally bought Hellbeast amp, and when v2 came out AA provided that for free. Amp Locker now has the vintage style amp for free, and both versions of Hellbeast. I just bought the ReAmp 2 upgrade, and there is no ReAmp 2 VST, but ReAmp 2 appears as an amp within Amp Locker. Also, in the effects section there are more effects under ReAmp 2. After a few minutes of playing, I got the impression the models are a considerable improvement over the original ReAmp ones, so definitely worth the upgrade.

Re-Amp 2 now?! They keep changing the UI.
I upgraded, the amps sound great.
I'm sure in 2 months there will be Re-Amp 9 or go back to individual Amp models?
But I am so confused by their direction.

The smallest minority on earth is the individual.

My confusion is that now ReAmp has integrated into this amp-locker, it's hard to find the bits I actually own - all the presets I've tried are demos of stuff - it's like amplitube ( ie. An online shop )... and that's not good

yeah I have a few AA plugins and just purchased Shilbalba, now I see you can only use it in amp locker, this is not good for me, my other plugs example AHM5050 dont need to load inside amp locker., I understand Reamp was a all in one solution but stuffing these inside seems a bit annoying.hotmitts wrote: Mon Nov 27, 2023 8:11 pmI'll update this info as they've released a patch to address this issue -fair play guv'norhotmitts wrote: Sun Nov 19, 2023 12:34 pm My confusion is that now ReAmp has integrated into this amp-locker, it's hard to find the bits I actually own - all the presets I've tried are demos of stuff - it's like amplitube ( ie. I found the website not clear indicated in what and how.
Is it so that you can only add 4 pedals before and 5 after?
It's a bit limiting for me.
I'm not interested in +50 amps trying all the knobs to find my tone.
I'm also not interested in particular amp brand copies for tone X or Y, neither am I interested in IR's/NAM/NeuralPsycho stuff.
Only one (or a couple) amp is good enough for me if they give a decent saturated versatile sound.
What I'm more interested in is creating FX-chains, rather post-rock like, swells, ...
So the ability to easily switch/drag pedals from left to right or vice-versa would be nice.
An ability to add values to knobs with your keyboard directly to more accurately set the values.
Also the ability to copy-paste pedals from one side to another. Or saving presets per pedal.
Also a quick search field in the presets would be nice.
I'm still seeking my ideal plugin, ToneLib GFX is another one I'm not 100% convinced with, always undecided.

There's a little eye icon in the selector that allows you to hide the things you don't own.hotmitts wrote: Sun Nov 19, 2023 12:34 pm My confusion is that now ReAmp has integrated into this amp-locker, it's hard to find the bits I actually own - all the presets I've tried are demos of stuff - it's like amplitube ( ie. Got to take back my words about these points. It already works like that.bulevardi wrote: Wed Oct 02, 2024 10:53 am [So the ability to easily switch/drag pedals from left to right or vice-versa would be nice.

I was testing so many plugins lately in such short time that I start to mix them.
Will take a bit more time on this one next weekend. I think I'll get the subscription to activate the full version to see what's possible.
